Contact HomeMeasureKit
Send questions about calculator behavior, measurement assumptions, accessibility issues, content corrections, or privacy requests to the project contact address.
Contact address: contact@homemeasurekit.com
Include the calculator name, the measurements you entered, the unit system, and what result seemed unclear. Do not send sensitive personal, financial, medical, legal, or account data.
What to include
- The full page URL and calculator name.
- The measurement units used, such as feet, inches, meters, or centimeters.
- Every input value needed to reproduce the calculation.
- The expected result and the result you saw.
- Browser and device details if the issue is visual or interactive.
A short, complete example is usually more useful than a general description. For instance, include the room dimensions, openings, waste factor, product coverage, and rounding result shown on the page. If the issue changes after switching units or editing a default value, mention that step as well.
What HomeMeasureKit can review
Reports can cover calculator arithmetic, unit conversion, rounding, unclear assumptions, broken links, accessibility barriers, outdated source references, or a mismatch between a formula and its worked example. Content corrections are checked against the visible page, the calculator implementation, and the cited product or primary-source guidance where one is available.
HomeMeasureKit can correct published explanations and investigate reproducible calculator errors. It cannot provide project-specific construction advice, contractor quotations, product suitability decisions, inspections, permit guidance, or professional opinions on structural, electrical, plumbing, gas, code, insurance, legal, medical, or safety matters.
For product-specific questions
Include the manufacturer and exact product name, then link to the public label or product page if possible. Do not upload purchase receipts, account screenshots, private project documents, or photographs containing people, addresses, access codes, or other identifying details. The manufacturer or a qualified installer remains the authority for product use and installation requirements.
How reports are handled
A report is first matched to the affected URL and reproduced with the supplied inputs. The formula, unit conversion, rounding rule, examples, and cited references are then compared. When a correction is warranted, the page or calculator is updated and its reviewed date is advanced after verification. Suggestions that depend on a specific building condition or professional judgment may be acknowledged without being turned into calculator logic.
Privacy when contacting the site
Send only the minimum information needed to understand the issue. Do not include passwords, financial records, medical information, legal documents, precise home addresses, or other sensitive personal data. Email is used to review the request and, when necessary, ask for a clearer reproduction. See the Privacy Policy for more detail.
