How the Project Board works
The Project Board lets you save calculator summaries in this browser so you can compare paint, wallpaper, flooring, rug, tile, curtain, moving box, wall area, and room area estimates during early planning. It is meant for quick comparison notes, not permanent records.
Each saved card can link back to the calculator that created it, so you can adjust inputs when product coverage, waste, room dimensions, or layout choices change.
Example project notes
- A 12 ft x 10 ft bedroom area estimate.
- A paint estimate with two coats and door/window deductions.
- A flooring or tile estimate with a visible waste factor.
- A rug size comparison or moving box supply list.
What is not saved
HomeMeasureKit does not create an account, upload measurements, or store saved project notes on a server for normal calculator use. Saved notes stay on this device unless the browser removes local storage.
When to clear saved estimates
Clear saved estimates before sharing a device, after finishing a project, or when a saved measurement was entered incorrectly.
