HomeMeasureKit is designed to work without user accounts. The site does not require login, passwords, profiles, or account registration to use the calculators.
Calculator inputs are used to produce estimates in the browser. The Project Board can save calculation summaries in local browser storage only. Saved calculations are not uploaded to HomeMeasureKit, and users should not store sensitive personal information in saved notes.
HomeMeasureKit does not ask users to upload files, create profiles, or submit calculator measurements to a server for normal calculator use.
When a browser requests a page, hosting and security providers may automatically process standard technical information such as an IP address, request time, requested URL, referring page, and browser or device information. This information may be used to deliver the site, diagnose errors, measure performance, and protect against abuse. It is separate from the measurements entered into a calculator.
If you email HomeMeasureKit, the message may include your email address and any information you choose to provide. The current contact address is contact@homemeasurekit.com. Do not send sensitive personal or safety-critical project data.
HomeMeasureKit may use privacy-conscious analytics such as Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand page performance and aggregated usage patterns. Analytics may process standard request or device information, but HomeMeasureKit does not intentionally send calculator inputs to analytics services or use those inputs to create personal profiles.
The site and its service providers may use cookies, local storage, web beacons, IP addresses, or other identifiers for site delivery, security, analytics, consent choices, and advertising when those services are active. Browser controls can block or delete cookies, although doing so may reset saved Project Board data or privacy choices.
HomeMeasureKit may use advertising services. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites when advertising is active. Google's use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to HomeMeasureKit and other sites on the Internet.
Other third-party vendors or ad networks may also serve or measure ads. Before third-party advertising is activated, HomeMeasureKit will identify the active vendor set and link to each vendor's privacy information through the site's consent or privacy choices interface. For reference, current Google ad technology partner information is available in Google's ad technology partner guidance. Learn more about how Google uses information from partner sites.
Users can review or opt out of personalized advertising from Google through My Ad Center. Users can also visit YourAdChoices to review opt-out choices offered by participating third-party vendors. These choices do not necessarily stop all ads; ads may still be contextual or based on general location.
When advertising is served to visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, HomeMeasureKit will use a Google-certified consent management platform where required. The consent message provides information about participating vendors and available choices, including the ability to refuse or withdraw consent where applicable. Google explains its current publisher consent requirements in its consent management guidance.
Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have rights concerning certain personal information, such as access, correction, deletion, or choices about targeted advertising, sale, or sharing. HomeMeasureKit does not sell calculator measurements and does not maintain user accounts. Advertising and infrastructure providers may process information under their own notices and controls.
To ask a privacy question or make a request related to information HomeMeasureKit controls, email contact@homemeasurekit.com. A request may need enough detail to identify the relevant communication or service, but do not send sensitive project measurements or identity documents unless specifically needed.
This policy may be updated when the site changes how it handles analytics, advertising, affiliate links, browser storage, or user communications.
